Why Forever products are not certified organic ?

The first reason is that the BIO label is issued by independent bodies (Ecocert, AB) and that this certification is valid only in France and in Europe. It is therefore very much under-dimensioned (geographically speaking) for an international company present in more than 170 countries The second reason is that this BIO label guarantees only a few points that are insufficient for Forever (this only applies to Aloe Vera): it only guarantees that the plants are grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, Are cultivated is not contaminated by neighbors.

The BIO label does not guarantee that the plant:     

• Has been harvested at maturity     

• Whether it contains all the nutrients and principles desired,     

• It has not been degraded during transport, packaging or storage

One can find Bio aloevera which:     

• Was harvested too early     

• Has been grown under a climate that does not allow to have the content of active principle     

• Was dried and then rehydrated.

1. A better environment

ISO 14001:

Forever is aware of its role in protecting nature and our natural resources. That's why we are very proud that Aloe Vera of America, the exclusive manufacturer of Forever products, has been ISO 14001 certified, as have 45 of our resorts. It is an internationally recognized environmental management system dedicated to the environmental activities of companies and assessing the environmental impact of the company. We received this certificate in May 2007 for taking an important step: reducing our impact on nature.

 

2. A healthy workplace

OHSAS 18001:

The Aloe Vera of America is also certified by OHSAS 18001 for its safe and healthy work environment. The OHSAS 18001 or Occupational Health and Safety Assesment Series is an international standard that, while freely translated, ensures the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace. OHSAS is a British certificate maintained by many American and European companies.

3. Quality products

ISO 9001 2000 label

In July 2007, we received the ISO 9001: 2000 certificate. It is a standard requiring a quality system of a company and whose objective is to monitor the correct application of this quality policy. Our research team was able to conclude that we are the only company in the world that possesses the 3 certificates. This allows us to show what the Forever company is and how important we are to the environment, to provide a pleasant working environment for our employees and to fulfill our duty to manufacture only the highest quality products .

 

4. Products not tested on animals

Label Cruelty Free:

Forever Living Products also respects animals! Our cosmetics and care products are not tested on animals. By publishing this Cruelty Free logo, we show that no animal is involved in the production of skin care products and other products.

The 3 Product Certifications

1. Certified

IASC Quality Label

Forever is the first company in the world to have obtained the logo certified by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) for its unique stabilization process. Indeed, in 1968, Forever succeeded in extracting the gel from the plant and, by a natural process, to stabilize it by adding natural antioxidants in the form of vitamins C and E. This is why aloe vera gel can be kept for five years, without losing its powerful effectiveness. The patent for this unique stabilization process belongs to Forever.

 

2. "Kasher"

For the respect of all, Forever also took into consideration every belief, standards and values. Much of our assortment is Kosher. The kosher food requirements are the rules of "kasheroute" (meaning "skill" in Hebrew) and determine whether or not a particular food can be eaten by the Jews. Foods that satisfy these food laws, are called kosher. This certificate is given annually by Rabbi B. Frauwirth, under the approval of Jerusalem. Our Kosher certificate, which must be renewed every year, is available on request. You will be able to see the original document accompanied by an overview of products named kosher and officially approved by a signature

3. "Halal"

Label Hallal

For all Muslims respectful of Halal food and health products, there is also the Islamic Seal of Approval. Halal (which means in Arabic: pure, authorized) is an Islamic term indicating to the Muslims what is permitted. The opposite is found in the non-juridical term haram (impure, forbidden). These are both acts and products. Among other things, with regard to food, special guidelines are in force for a Muslim to submit. The Islamic Seal of Approval is a certificate written and signed by Imam Mehdi Houssaini el Korasani, President of the Islamic Society, which contains a list of all Forever products allowed to Muslims.
